Sarah Ashmore Sarah is a local artist who has lived in Downalong for 23 years. She has worked on Wharf Road throughout that time both as General Manager of a local retail & online business as well as her own studio in Harbour Galleries.

Chris Worker & Francine Kateley-Duff We are Francine and Chris and we live and work in Downalong. We have been here for four years running Cornerways Guest House with our two spaniels.

Liz Watson Liz has lived in St Ives, in Downalong, since November 2020, currently in The Digey.

Jonathan Thomas Coming from a longline of St Ives Fishing families dating back well over 300 yrs living in Downlong. The Thomas colours (red and white hoops on the mast) are still seen on the Barnabas SS634 and in the St Ives sail club.

Simon Ashmore Simon has lived in Porthmeor Road, Downalong for 23 years. In that time he has managed public sector business support projects across Cornwall, served as a director of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, Digital Peninsular Network & for the 19 years Company Secretary of Porthmeor Management Limited, responsible for the management & maintenance of the 49 apartments in St Nicholas Court.  He served as a member of the Operational Management Team of St Ives Lifeboat Station for 14 years but now watches launches from a surfboard or canoe & tries to avoid needing rescue.
