How do I spell "Downalong"?

"Well, Downlong is the older original  interpretation of the area and I have known it as such since I was a child. I know that some call it Downalong and that seems to have established itself more over the last 30 years or so, I like to keep with original if possible but for this issue I am sure it's not a show stopper."

For the current purposes of this website "Downalong", which we will use to demonstrate that we move with the times & do not fear change, can be defined as:

"Any road in St Ives to which access will be restricted if the Low Traffic Environment (LTE) proposed in the initial consultation plans published in November 2023 is implemented."

Sadly not, we need to stick to residents for now. HOWEVER, she will be a visitor, so can complete the normal survey before 5th January 2024 & make her views heard that way.
